Kaly Grace Crawford

Early this morning, as she was being held by her mommy, Kaly went to
see Jesus. While we are a little weepy, we are mostly just so thankful
for the eight hours that we had with her (the doctors didn’t expect
her to live past birth, and she actually lived to the next day).

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. We are surprised
by how thankful we feel, and that of course is entirely because of
God’s grace.

Truly in His grip,

Terry and Gloria

In lieu of any flowers or gifts, please consider sponsoring a needy child
in Kaly’s honor through World Vision or a similar organization (we owe
this idea to some friends who informed us that they are doing so).

  1. I am heartbroken.

I’m sad that I can’t be there for you, but please believe me when I say I’m here for you, as are my family and friends all over the world.

There are many candles lit in Kaly Grace’s name as I write this, by people of many different religions. There are many prayers said for her, and for all of you in your strength.

Far beyond the eight hours she’s been with us, she had brought many people together in prayer in different cultures and different languages.

In that, she brought Good into this World, and this World has become a better place because of it.

  2. Dear Gloria & Terry,

We rejoice with you on the birth of you little one and you getting to meet her and hold her though only for a short while. And we mourn for your heart-breaking loss. May the God of all comforts surround you with His peace and grace. Through the joy and sorrow, we praise Kaly’s Maker and Father who loves her and all of you with abounding love. Thank you so much for your model of faith and joy throughout this difficult journey. We are so thankful for you.

    With prayers,
    Ellen & Will
