It’s almost February and I’m finally posting some pictures from Christmas. I would blame it on having a newborn, but Mia (who is now 2 months old) sleeps a ton, and aside from one stretch of fussiness in the afternoon/early evening, she is a breeze. Here are a few shots from the last couple of months.
Mommy is about halfway through her postpartum confinement month (Mia and I are attempting to stay in for a month and other than a dr’s appt and a trip to the embassy to apply for Mia’s passport, we’re laying low here at home).
As you can see here, the boys love staying in their jammies on non-school days:
The boys went to a children’s Christmas party hosted by some good neighbor friends (check out the Santa suit they got back in the States!)…
…followed by another friend’s birthday party (Mia and Mommy missed out on a lot of special treats that day).
But they’re enjoying the special treat of staying home together…
Can you see my gray eyes? (We’re trying to catch them before they turn brown like my brothers).
Mom enjoys taking pictures of me in the same position over and over again since I can’t protest yet.
With glory to God, joyand thanksgiving, we introduce:

”Therefore I tell you,do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink;or about your body, what you will wear.
…See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these….
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well…
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself….”
Facebook is blocked, our proxy stopped working, I’m running out of space on my computer, etc… Ok, I’m just behind in updating the blog. And now that I’m about to pop any day, I thought I should at least put some pics up from the last few months.
We got interviewed at the Chaoyang Park Beach (one of the ways they are using the Olympic venues):
